Recently, VSOM GLASS once again completed a batch of custom glass orders for a customer from Norway.
The customer is a local glass product distributor, mainly selling products through multiple supermarket channels. Since both parties had cooperated previously, the customer purchased custom glass from us again for the fireplace bottom area application of their products.
Based on the product requirements provided by the customer, VSOM GLASS customized tempered glass products in different colors, including 6mm clear tempered glass and 6mm grey tempered glass. The glass was processed according to the dimensions required by the customer and finally shipped to Norway by sea.
Customer Requirements
As a distributor selling products to end consumers, the customer not only focuses on the appearance of glass products but also requires stable supply capability to meet the product demands of their retail channels.
During this procurement process, the customer mainly put forward the following requirements:
- The glass needed to be strictly customized according to the drawings to ensure it could match the actual application requirements of the fireplace bottom area;
- Clear and grey glass options were required to meet the matching needs of different products;
- The glass products needed to have stable quality performance to meet subsequent sales and transportation requirements.
Since this was the second cooperation between both parties, we already had a certain understanding of the customer’s purchasing habits and product requirements during the early communication stage. Therefore, we were able to confirm product details more efficiently and arrange the following production process.
Fireplace Glass Solution
Based on the drawings and application requirements provided by the customer, VSOM GLASS customized two different colors of tempered glass products for this project to match the actual application requirements of the fireplace bottom area.
1. 6mm Clear Tempered Glass
Clear tempered glass provides a clear and natural visual effect while maintaining good light transmission performance, meeting the customer’s requirements for the application effect of clear glass.
2. 6mm Grey Tempered Glass
Grey tempered glass uses its own color characteristics to bring a more stable visual appearance to the products and can be used for different product style combinations.
Both glass products were customized according to the specifications provided by the customer and processed through tempering treatment to improve the overall strength and performance of the glass, making them more suitable for subsequent product applications.
Production and Quality Control
During the production process, VSOM GLASS processed the glass according to the dimensions confirmed by the customer and inspected the dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and overall appearance of the glass.
For export orders, in addition to the processing quality of the products themselves, stable production processes and delivery capabilities are also important. Through comprehensive production management, we ensure that the final products meet customer requirements and provide reliable support for subsequent transportation and customer sales channels.
Packaging and Transportation
Since this batch of glass products needed to be exported to Norway by sea, VSOM GLASS adopted export packaging suitable for long-distance transportation to protect the glass.
During the packaging process, we carried out protective treatments according to the characteristics of the glass products to reduce the risk of possible collision or damage during transportation and ensure that the products could arrive safely at the customer’s hands.
After production and packaging were completed, this batch of fireplace glass was successfully arranged for sea shipment to Norway.
Second Cooperation, Continuing Customer Recognition
This order marks the second cooperation between VSOM GLASS and this Norwegian customer.
