Project Overview
Recently, VSOM GLASS completed a custom glass project for a customer from Qatar, providing a batch of glass products for indoor tabletop applications.
This was our second cooperation with this customer. During our previous cooperation, the customer recognized our product quality and service communication, which led them to choose to work with us again.
For this project, the customer put forward requirements for the visual effect, safety, edge processing, and transportation protection of the glass products based on their actual application needs. After preliminary requirement communication and confirmation, production processing, and packaging arrangements, the batch of glass products was successfully delivered and shipped to the customer’s location.
Client Requirements
For this project, the customer wanted to customize a batch of glass products suitable for indoor tabletop applications. During the communication process, the customer mainly put forward the following requirements:
- The finished glass products should maintain a clear and transparent visual effect;
- The products should meet daily usage requirements, with attention to safety during use;
- Requirements were raised for glass edge processing, including round edge polishing;
- Since the products required international transportation, the customer hoped that the glass could be sufficiently protected during transportation to ensure safe delivery.
Solution
Based on the customer’s requirements, VSOM GLASS provided a customized solution for 15mm ultra-clear tempered glass.
In terms of glass material selection, we selected ultra-clear glass as the original glass. Compared with ordinary glass, ultra-clear glass has a lower iron content and higher light transmittance, which can reduce the color deviation caused by the raw material composition of the glass, allowing the finished products to present a clearer and purer visual effect, better meeting the customer’s requirements for the transparency of tabletop glass.
To meet the requirements for safety and durability in tabletop applications, we carried out tempering treatment on the glass. After tempering, the glass has higher strength and impact resistance, allowing it to better meet the safety requirements in daily use scenarios.
Meanwhile, according to the customer’s requirements for edge processing, we completed round edge polishing before tempering, making the glass edges smoother and more refined, improving the overall appearance while enhancing safety during use.
Production and Delivery
During production, VSOM GLASS arranged glass processing according to the customer’s requirements and conducted quality inspections before shipment, with a focus on glass dimensions, surface quality, and edge processing effects to ensure that the final products met customer requirements.
After production was completed, the products were professionally packed in plywood crates, and corresponding protective measures were taken according to the customer’s transportation requirements to reduce potential impacts during transportation and ensure that the products could be safely delivered to the customer.
Project Results
Currently, this batch of tabletop glass has completed production, quality inspection, and professional packaging, and has been successfully shipped to the customer’s location in Qatar.
From the initial requirement communication and glass solution confirmation to subsequent production processing and transportation arrangements, VSOM GLASS followed each stage of the project according to customer requirements, ensuring that the final delivered glass products met customer expectations.
The successful completion of this project also allowed both parties to gain more experience in customized glass project cooperation, creating more possibilities for future cooperation.
