Project Overview
Recently, we completed a building glass project from a European customer, providing a customized glass solution for the atrium railing area inside their building.
Since the atrium railing is located in an open area inside the building, the glass not only needed to meet the structural installation requirements of the railing system, but also needed to maintain good transparency and coordinate with the overall space design.
Based on the application characteristics of this project, we had in-depth communication with the customer and comprehensively considered the glass type, performance, and processing requirements according to the actual needs of the atrium railing area. Finally, we provided an ultra-clear curved tempered glass solution that met the project requirements.
Customer Requirements
During the early communication stage, the customer mainly focused on the following aspects:

Project Challenges

At the initial stage of the project, we confirmed the glass processing solution based on the drawings, structural dimensions, and installation requirements provided by the customer. To meet the requirements of the atrium space for a transparent visual effect, we selected ultra-clear glass as the glass substrate. Compared with clear glass, ultra-clear glass has lower color deviation, which can reduce the impact of the glass’s own tint on the visual appearance of the space and create a clearer effect after installation.
During production, we focused on controlling the glass bending forming quality, dimensional accuracy, and surface quality. Before shipment, detailed product inspections were carried out to ensure that the glass met the customer’s requirements for the safety performance, installation compatibility, and long-term stability of the atrium railing system.
Project Delivery
After the glass production was completed, we conducted strict quality inspections on the batch of ultra-clear curved tempered glass and used professional packaging methods to protect the finished products, reducing the risk of possible collision and damage during transportation.
Finally, the batch of ultra-clear curved tempered glass was successfully delivered and applied to the atrium railing area inside the European customer’s building.
