Recently, VSOM GLASS completed an apartment renovation project from Dubai, providing the customer with an ultra-clear curved tempered laminated glass solution, along with matching U-channels and related installation accessories, for the indoor railing area of the apartment.
For the curved glass railing requirements in this project, VSOM GLASS provided a customized solution based on the customer’s design requirements and the glass application scenario, and finally completed the glass production and delivery of matching accessories.
Customer Requirements
The customer of this project is from the design and renovation industry, mainly responsible for the space design and renovation implementation of this Dubai apartment project.
Since the railing area in the project adopted a curved design, the customer hoped to create a more transparent and simple spatial effect through glass railings. At the same time, the glass products were required to have good safety performance and meet the design requirements of the curved structure.
According to the project requirements, the customer expected VSOM GLASS to:

- Draw glass drawings according to the customer’s design requirements for customer confirmation;

Solutions
Based on the customer’s requirements for transparency, safety performance, and curved design, VSOM GLASS provided an ultra-clear curved tempered laminated glass solution for this project, along with matching U-channels and related installation accessories.

Since the glass railing in this project adopted a curved design, preliminary dimension and drawing confirmation were important steps in customized production. During the project process, VSOM GLASS maintained repeated communication with the customer and prepared glass drawings based on the dimensions and related design requirements provided by the customer. During this process, VSOM GLASS repeatedly communicated with the customer to confirm drawing details, and finally determined the production plan that met the project requirements.
In terms of glass selection, ultra-clear glass features higher light transmission, presenting a clearer and more natural visual effect and allowing the glass railing to maintain a good sense of transparency with the interior space. Meanwhile, according to the curved railing design requirements of the project, the glass was processed with curved forming to achieve smooth curved lines, and tempered processing was applied to improve the product strength.
In addition, the laminated structure further enhanced the safety performance of the glass, enabling the final glass products to meet the usage requirements of the apartment railing area.
Project Delivery
After all glass products were completed, VSOM GLASS conducted individual quality inspections on the products to ensure that the glass dimensions, appearance, and processing results met the project requirements. Subsequently, according to the customer’s requirements for transportation safety, sealed wooden crates were used for secure packaging, and the glass was fixed and protected to reduce the impact of possible collisions and vibrations during sea transportation.
After packaging was completed, the products were transported by sea freight to the customer’s designated location, successfully completing the project delivery.
